AppSys And Doppio
AppSys is the company and account provider. Doppio is one product published by AppSys.
Your AppSys account may be used across more than one AppSys product. This policy focuses on Doppio and the AppSys account, subscription, support, and backend services needed to use Doppio.
AppSys acts as data controller for those services.
When you use third-party services through Doppio, such as Google Play, Google Sign-In, or Plex, those services remain responsible for their own data processing under their own privacy policies.
Data We Use
We only use the data needed to provide and secure AppSys services and Doppio.
Depending on how you use the app, this may include:
- AppSys account information such as your email address, display name, account identifier, language, and sign-in status.
- Authentication and security information such as session tokens, verification data, IP address, User-Agent, and an app-scoped device identifier.
- Subscription information such as subscription status, product identifiers, purchase tokens, order identifiers, renewal status, expiry status, and entitlement data.
- App and device technical information needed to run the service, such as app version, platform, package name, network state, and request metadata.

Doppio may also store app settings, media metadata, playback state, searches, cache data, server connection information, subtitles, and preferences locally on your device so the app can work properly.
Your Media Servers
Doppio is designed to play media from media services and media servers you choose to connect.
In normal app use, AppSys does not collect, host, or store your media files, your media library, access tokens for your media accounts, or credentials for your media servers. This information is used locally by the app, or by your own media server and its developer, only when needed for playback, synchronization, or proper operation of the service. We invite you to review the terms and privacy policy of the developer of the media server you use.
If you voluntarily send error logs, screenshots, or diagnostic information to support, those materials may include information about your setup. We recommend that you do not send private media files, secrets, credentials, access tokens, or unnecessary personal data.
AppSys does not provide technical support for third-party media servers. For questions or issues related to your media server, please contact the developer or publisher of the relevant solution directly.
Payments
Subscriptions purchased through Google Play are processed by Google. AppSys does not receive or store your payment card details.
AppSys receives and processes only the subscription and purchase information needed to verify your access and maintain your entitlement in Doppio.
Emails
AppSys may send transactional emails related to your account, authentication, subscription, support, or account deletion.
We do not send marketing emails or newsletters in the current version. If this changes, we will update this policy and use the required consent or opt-out mechanisms.
Analytics, Ads, And Crash Reporting
Doppio’s current Android app does not use advertising SDKs, third-party analytics SDKs, or third-party crash reporting SDKs.
We do not sell personal data.

- OVH, SAS for AppSys backend hosting.
- Professional, legal, accounting, security, and infrastructure providers where required.
Some providers may process data outside your country. When required by law, we use appropriate transfer safeguards.
Retention

AppSys account data is generally kept while your account exists. Subscription, billing, tax, security, and support records may be kept longer where required for legal obligations, fraud prevention, dispute handling, or service security.
Local app data remains on your device until you clear it, remove related accounts or servers, delete app data, or uninstall the app.
